The historical restaurant Caru' cu Bere
With a history over 130 years the restaurant Caru' cu Bere has been and still remains a symbol of the Historical Center of Bucharest.
Caru' cu Bere is a symbol for Bucharest and those who built this amazing historical building, they crossed the Carpathians mountains from Transilvania to Bucharest, where they built on Calea Victoriei (Victory Way) at number 2 the brewery with the original name "La Caru' cu Bere" ("At Caru' cu Bere"), holded by Ion Căbășanu from Ardeal region of Romania, and the name of Caru' cu Bere comes from this meaning: the beer was brought to this historical pub with horse-drawn chariots.
This where the brothers Ion and Gheorghe Mircea, the grandchildren of Ion Căbășanu, made their apprenticeship, the year when they called their third brother, Nicolae Mircea, the most practical the his brother and he sees his dream with his own eyes: the construction of the most faimous building in Bucharest as we know it today Caru' cu bere.
